Fantasy Football: Top 10 Dynasty Wide Receivers Entering 2025

2024 was a down year for wide receivers in fantasy football, but these 10 players should provide reliable production in 2025.
Dynasty Wide Receivers

The fantasy football season is coming to a close, as most leagues are preparing for their championship matchup. While redraft players can take their minds off fantasy for a few months, the offseason is where the fun begins for dynasty. Winning your league championship is never easy, so it’s time to evaluate the top wide receivers in dynasty.

Fantasy Football: Top 10 Wide Receivers In Dynasty

10. Brian Thomas

Rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas has been the lone silver lining on an otherwise disastrous Jacksonville Jaguars team. The fourth wide receiver selected in the 2024 NFL Draft class, the LSU product has dominated from Day 1 and will continue to do so as his career progresses. Through 15 games, Thomas has recorded 73 receptions for 1,088 yards and nine touchdowns, marks that only Odell Beckham and Ja’Marr Chase have eclipsed as rookies. The sky is the limit for this young superstar, especially since Jacksonville already committed themselves to quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

9. A.J. Brown

It speaks to Brown’s talent that averaging eight targets per game feels like coaching malpractice. The former Tennessee Titan continues to dominate regardless of surroundings, as he is still a week-in, week-out start despite Philadelphia’s run-heavy offense and Jalen Hurts’ penchant for stealing touchdowns in the red zone. While his age and the presence of Saquon Barkley limit his ceiling, raw talent alone earns him a spot on the top-10 list of dynasty wide receivers.

8. Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Following a relatively pedestrian rookie season, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is playing up to his pre-draft billing. Widely considered to be in a tier of his own in the 2023 NFL Draft class, the former first-round pick has dominated to the tune of 93 receptions for 1,089 yards and six touchdowns through 15 games. He’s been unstoppable since Week 9, having yet to record fewer than 74 yards in the back half of the season. He’s clearly the WR1 over DK Metcalf and should remain the top option in Seattle’s passing attack for the next 7-10 years.

7. Nico Collins

While the Texans offense largely took a step back in 2024, Nico Collins remains one of the game’s elite wide receivers. Boasting a 29.1% target rate and a 36.7% air yard share, Collins remained the top option in Houston’s passing attack despite the presence of Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell. Now, with Diggs set to leave in free agency and Dell unlikely to be healthy for the start of 2025, Collins should earn an absurd workload down the stretch and early in the upcoming season.

6. Amon-Ra St. Brown

If offensive coordinator Ben Johnson stayed with the Detroit Lions for his entire career, Amon-Ra St. Brown would probably earn a top-four spot on this list of dynasty wide receivers. Unfortunately, the playcalling guru will likely leave for greener pastures in a few months, which adds some uncertainty to St. Brown’s future. Targets are earned, so the former fourth-round pick will remain a key part of the offense. However, the overall efficiency will drop without Johnson, which means shorter drives, fewer targets, and limited scoring opportunities. St. Brown is a great player, but the artificial boost of Johnson’s fantastic scheme won’t be around forever.

5. Malik Nabers

Malik Nabers entered the NFL as one of the best wide receiver prospects in recent memory, and the LSU product somehow managed to outplay the hype. The rookie has the highest target share in the NFL and the fourth-best air-yard share. We all know that targets are earned in the NFL, and if Nabers is doing this as a rookie, imagine what he can do in Year 2. While he doesn’t have as many yards as former teammate Brian Thomas, his numbers should skyrocket with quarterbacks that aren’t Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, and Tommy DeVito. Currently in the driver’s seat for the first-overall pick, Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders will both provide Nabers with more accurate targets. While he’s fifth on the list for now, don’t be surprised if he earns a top-three spot in the dynasty wide receiver rankings next year.

4. Puka Nacua

It wasn’t a one-year fluke, Puka Nacua really is that good, and the entire NFL missed on a player who should dominate the league for years to come. Matthew Stafford loves targeting his wide receivers, and the one-time Super Bowl champion is near the end of his career. However, even if Stafford hangs up the cleats following the season, the Rams next quarterback will look to Nacua early and often. With Cooper Kupp getting older and slowing down, head coach Sean McVay will build his offense around Nacua’s unique skillset.

3. CeeDee Lamb

The top three players on this list of dynasty wide receivers should come as no surprise. CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, and Ja’Marr Chase are all fantastic talents capable of singlehandedly winning any matchup. However, if we’re going to split hairs, Lamb is probably the least of the big three. While he’s a phenomenal player in his own right, he’s not as generational as the other two. However, he is an elite talent, has a long-term contract, and is paired with a good quarterback in Dak Prescott.

2. Justin Jefferson

Famously the fifth receiver selected in his draft class, Justin Jefferson might be a top-five receiver of all-time. On a collision course with the Hall of Fame, the LSU product’s 97.1 yards per game is an all-time career record. What keeps him from the top spot is the uncertainty surrounding the quarterback position. Sam Darnold likely played his way to a contract the Vikings can’t afford, and nobody knows how good first-round pick J.J. McCarthy can be. However, even if McCarthy can’t recapture his Michigan magic in the NFL, Jefferson will remain an elite fantasy football asset.

1. Ja’Marr Chase

Ja’Marr Chase is having an all-time season. Through 15 games, the wideout leads the NFL in receptions (108), receiving yards (1,510), and touchdowns (16). Cincinnati’s terrible defense combined with the greatness of Joe Burrow and Chase himself created the perfect situation for fantasy football dominance, and it won’t go away any time soon. If anything, he could be even better next year if Tee Higgins leaves for a bigger paycheck. The term ‘untouchable’ is thrown around too loosely in most fantasy circles, but in this case, it’s deserved. If you have Ja’Marr Chase, put him in your WR1 spot and enjoy the next decade or so of elite play.
