The NASCAR Cup Series rolls into Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Pennzoil 400. The fifth race of the 2025 season and we are looking at Christopher Bell winning four races in a row, becoming the first since Jimmie Johnson in 2007. Here is everything you need to know before cars hit the track.

NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 Preview, Predictions, and How To Watch:

The Cup Series stays in the desert, with the Las Vegas Motor Speedway playing host to the fifth race of 2025, the Pennzoil 400. With Christopher Bell winning his third in a row last week at Phoenix, the fall race runner-up wants to join elite company and win four in a row. But could someone spoil the party and join him and Byron as winners in 2025?

Race Preview:

The Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a 267-lap race around the 1.5-mile speedway. Stage breaks will come at laps 80 and 160, with the checkered flag flying on lap 267.

Cup Series Points Standings:

Here are the points standings following the race at Phoenix:

1. William Byron: 165
2. Christopher Bell: 152
3. Tyler Reddick: 143
4. Ryan Blaney: 136
5. Chase Elliott: 124
6. Alex Bowman: 117

The Track: Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Built and opened in 1996, the 1.5-mile speedway at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a 1.5-mile tri-oval featuring 20 degrees of banking in the turns and 9 degrees on the front and back stretch. Jimmie Johnson and Joey Logano are tied for the all-time wins at the track with four. Kevin Harvick set the track record in 2018 with a 28.8-second lap.

Drivers To Watch:

Obviously all eyes are on Christopher Bell, three in a row to open up the season. But its not just about momentum, Bell is pretty good here too. 3 top-fives, 5 top-tens, 3 pole awards, don’t be surprised to Bell make history on Sunday.

But he is not the only one who is good here. Kyle Larson is looking for win #1 of 2025 and defend his win from last year. He was apart of the great finish at Phoenix last week, and wants to break the streak Bell is setting and start one for himself.

Joey Logano was the fall winner in 2024. Like Larson, he has two wins in the Next-Gen car here. I think Logano is the best Ford coming into the weekend.
