In wrestling, we always try to predict the unpredictable; think John Cena’s heel turn. Regarding TNA Sacrifice, which took place last Friday and can still be watched on TNA+, we could have expected an attack from Elijah on Joe Hendry or Nic Nemeth trying to seek revenge on the man who “stole” his TNA iMPACT! World Championship.
We could have expected Jeff Hardy, the King of the Ladder match, to win the X-Division Championship. All of this was wrong. Ryan and Nic Nemeth targeted the Hardys. That was so unpredictable no one saw it coming. Jeff Hardy failed, thanks to Alisha Edwards, which was a bit more predictable.
As we are taking the Road to Rebellion, one of TNA’s “Big Four” PPVs, taking place on April 27, with a short stop in Las Vegas on April 17 for Unbreakable, the question marks are going to multiply. Let’s hope that, in the end, they will turn into exclamation points.

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling
TNA World Champion Joe Hendry heads into battle with Elijah to take on The System’s Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers. Riding high after victory inside the steel cage at Sacrifice, can they continue their winning ways against The System?
After shocking the world with their betrayal of Matt Hardy inside the steel cage at Sacrifice, the Nemeth Brothers are set to explain their actions! What will Nic & Ryan have to say about their brutal assault on one-half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions?
After Mustafa Ali stole the victory from Mike Santana at Sacrifice with help from The Great Hands, Santino Marella made the rematch for this week on iMPACT! Ali vs. Santana, but, this time, The Great Hands & Tasha Steelz are banned from ringside.
By defeating NXT’s Cora Jade at Sacrifice, the reigning Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich proved why she’s the most dominant force in the Knockouts division. This Thursday, Slamovich kicks off TNA iMPACT! What will Slamovich have to say in the iMPACT Zone?
FIR$T CLA$$ will host a special edition of the FIR$T CLA$$ Penthou$e Thursday on iMPACT!, featuring former TNA World Tag Team Champion Chavo Guerrero Jr.
After Eric Young helped Steve Maclin defeat Frankie Kazarian at Sacrifice, The Northern Armory takes on The Rascalz in a heated tag team battle this week on TNA iMPACT!
Fresh off capturing the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles at Sacrifice, Ash & Heather By Elegance, alongside The Personal Concierge, are set to host a Championship Celebration By Elegance. But with NXT’s Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson interrupting their moment at Sacrifice, will this be a night of glory—or chaos?
After a brutal Street Fight victory over Sami Callihan at Sacrifice, Mance Warner steps into action this Thursday on iMPACT! With Steph De Lander by his side, what chaos will Ol’ Mancer bring to the iMPACT! Zone?
The Nygma’s View
I was talking about question marks, and TNA has included a lot of them in their preview. A fallout show is a gigantic question mark in itself. If you read my Sacrifice After the Bell piece, you will understand there are two sides to the story: what is and what is possible to happen. Follow me; I promise it will be crystal-clear for you in a few minutes.
Mustafa Ali defeated Santana at Sacrifice because his Court was there and helped him steal the win. This time, the Court is banned, and Ali will be on his own. Unless an unexpected appearance from someone I’m not aware of or a trick up Ali’s sleeve, Santana is given the chance to grab a well-deserved win.
The case continues when it comes to the “System/Anti-System” war. TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will team up with Elijah against Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers. This match is a classic aftermath of the Sacrifice main event, with a chip on The System’s shoulder. Edwards and Myers will have to regain prestige for their faction as they failed to win the 10-man Steel Cage match.
Then, Joe Hendry also has a chip on his shoulder because a #1 contender for the World Championship can emerge from everywhere. Sometimes, from closer than you think…

Eric Young’s goons, The Northern Armory, are facing the Rascalz. A pretty classic tag-team match on paper, but remember what happened at Sacrifice when Eric Young “helped” Steve Maclin win his match against Kazarian. It could be easy to think Maclin could come and cost The Northern Armory this match. Mance Warner will be in action, not against Sami Callihan on paper, but quite probably in the ring. Sami is revengeful, and he won’t let Warner and De Lander capitalize on their Sacrifice win.
Four segments are set. It was announced Chavo Guerrero Jr. would take part in the El Paso tapings, he is meant to appear in the AJ Francis show, which can only lead to a big mess.
Ash and Heather by Elegance will celebrate their Tag Team titles win; I’m not sure Spitfire will let them eat cake peacefully. Masha Slamovich will kick off the show, and a new contender will appear and make her presence felt, whichever company she comes from.
Then, the Nemeth brothers will address their actions at Sacrifice. After listening to Ryan Nemeth’s list of apologies (tweet above), I don’t expect them to say, “We’re sorry and won’t do it again.” They want a brothers-vs-brothers feud. They want what The Hardys have around the waist. It’s a war that began at Sacrifice, a war for the TNA Tag Team titles. And the Nemeth bros are absolutely ready to do anything they can to grab the belts.
We’ll see if the Nygma’s crystal ball was right (it had a big cold so that it could have said a lot of wrong things)…
