The Champ Confronts His Challenger

The WWE Raw Results for March 17th, 2025, kicks off in a massive way as the confrontation between John Cena and Cody Rhodes began proceedings in Brussels, Belgium!

John Cena faced a hostile Brussels crowd, immediately addressing his turbulent relationship with the WWE Universe. He claimed fans made it easy for him to turn his back on them, accusing them of taking without appreciation. Dismissing their chants for Cody Rhodes, Cena mocked their tendency to discard stars once the novelty fades. He also called out his supporters, saying they use him to justify their “miserable existence.”

Cody Rhodes finally confronted Cena, reminding him that while the fans gave him their worst, they also gave him their best—because he was special. When Cena condescendingly called him “kid,” Rhodes demanded to be addressed as the “Undisputed WWE Champion.” Before leaving, he urged Cena to rediscover his true self, declaring that at WrestleMania 41, he wanted to fight the legend, not “this whiny b*tch.”

(Here’s the heated exchange in greater detail)

The first bit of action immediately followed with Ludwig Kaiser vs. Penta!

Ludwig Kaiser vs. Penta

The night that started hot got even hotter. Kaiser and Penta went all out in this No Holds Barred Match, pulling everything out, including the kitchen sink. Two of the most brutal moments of the bout came when Ludwig Kaiser delivered a Death Valley Driver onto the announcer’s desk.

However, Penta would utilize that same table, delivering a devastating Back Drop to Kaiser onto it. In the closing moments of the match, Kaiser would seemingly beg for misery but would try to play possum and hit Penta with a steel chair. The Luchador saw this coming from a mile away, prying it off his hand and throwing it to him to catch it, delivering a devastating kick against Kaiser’s head and the furniture.

To put the finishing touches on, Penta would deliver the Mexican Destroyer, followed up with a Penta Driver, and pick up the fall.

Post-match, Penta thanked the Belgian fans as Cathy Kelly asked him what would happen after this win. Penta made it no secret that he’s gunning for the Intercontinental Championship.

Ivy Nile and Dakota would take the ring next.

Dakota Kai vs. Ivy Nile

In a quick match, Ivy Nile began with great offense. Unfortunately, she could not keep it up for long. Her coach, Chad Gable, as well as The Creed Brothers, would be chased off by the L.W.O., which could be the determining factor in throwing Nile off her game. Ivy Nile wouldn’t have time to re-think her game plan as Kai would catch her with the G.T.K., pinning her to get back on the winning track.

IYO SKY comes out ready for her WrestleMania 41 Women’s World Championship contract signing opposite 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair.

WrestleMania 41 Women’s World Championship Contract Signing

IYO SKY and Bianca Belair’s contract signing went off without a hitch, keeping things professional and immediately signing on the dotted line to make it official, That is until Rhea Ripley showed up. Things quickly unraveled when all three women were in the ring. Belair inadvertently pushed SKY, and Ripley quickly gave Bianca a devastating headbutt.

The signing ended when Rhea delivered a Powerbomb to Bianca Belair on top of a laid-out IYO SKY on the table. Ripley would sign the championship contract. However, as Michael Cole would state, it means nothing since the agreement was drafted up for the singles championship bout.

WWE Raw results go on as Jey Uso makes his way to the ring for a singles match against Austin Theory.

Jey Uso vs. Austin Theory

The match ended before it ever got off the ground; in a split second, Austin Theory would get pinned after a devastating Superkick from Jey Uso. Grayson Waller would try to intervene post-match, only to be met with a Superkick of his own. WWE World Heavyweight Champion, his opponent at WrestleMania 41, would try to capitalize on this madness, locking in a Rear Naked Choke.

Uso would fight it off, dispatching the champ and hoisting up the championship, a sight the WWE Universe could potentially see become a reality at the “Granddaddy of them All.”

The Creed Brothers vs. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee

A crazy mix of styles in this match. The Creed Brothers would try to overpower their much smaller opponents early on. Unfortunately for them, Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee would prove too much. Mysterio would set up Julius Creed for the 619, hitting his signature move and then following it up with a Springboard Splash for the victory.

After the match, the “masked luchador,” who is not Chad Gable, would take out Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

Seth Rollins comes out to an ecstatic Belgium crowd looking for some answers after what transpired between him, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns last week on Raw.

Seth Rollins Speaks

Seth Rollins came out to a chorus of cheers in Brussels. Rollins would immediately get down to business, saying that, even after all this time, Roman Reigns still needed his “Architect” to help carry out his actions. Seth would inform the crowd that CM Punk and Roman Reigns were not in the building tonight.

That said, they both will be in Italy, and he’s looking to join them this Friday night. With that statement, Seth Rollins made it explicitly clear that he’s out to get some answers, and he intends to get them at the end of the week.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Bron Breakker vs. Finn Balor

For the main event of the evening and to cap off the WWE Monday Night Raw results for March 17th, 2025, in Brussels, Belgium, Bron Breakker defends the Intercontinental Championship against the leader of The Judgment Day, Finn Balor. Throughout, Finn Balor and Bron Breakker were evenly matched.

Seeing that, Carlito and Dominik Mysterio would make their way to the ring to “observe.” In the closing moments of this match, as Finn Balor was about to set up for some offense, Dom would try to help out one last time on the ring apron. Unfortunately, a miscue led Mysterio to inadvertently knock Balor off the top rope, leading to him losing his balance.

Breakker would capitalize on this and immediately hit a bone-shattering Spear on Balor to retain the IC Title. Post-match, The Judgment Day would try to overwhelm Breakker. Fortunately, Penta would drive off the wolves.

Bron Breakker would acknowledge the help but knew that Penta had his eyes set on the Intercontinental Championship, eyeing each other down to end the show.

That concludes the WWE Raw Results for March 17th, 2025.
