On Saturday, March 15, TNA Wrestling filmed more matches and segments for upcoming episodes at the County Coliseum in El Paso, TX (find out here what happened during the Sacrifice event on Friday night). We already knew Chavo Guerrero would return to the company for this taping session. It was also known Santana would face Mustafa Ali in a rematch of their Sacrifice encounter.
Here are the complete spoilers, with a few surprises coming from NXT.
TNA Xplosion & TNA iMPACT! Spoilers Tapings
- Steve Maclin defeated El Paso’s own Joe Alonzo.
- Dani Luna defeated Maggie Lee.
- TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich cut a promo in the ring, saying she takes pride in TNA and is on a mission to prove to the world that she’s the best. Tessa Blanchard was out to a chorus of boos, claiming she’s the best. NXT’s Jacy Jayne attacked Slamovich. Security rushed out, Santino Marella made it official. Next week, Slamovich vs. Jayne, with Blanchard banned from ringside.
- Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz defeated Travis Williams and Judas Cards of The Northern Armory.
- First Class Penthouse segment with AJ Francis mocking the “poor” crowd. Chavo Guerrero came out to a massive reaction, with heavy chants for him. AJ asked him what he’s doing here and mocks the city, saying, “This is the 915. Aaa yeah.” Kazarian went out, confronting Chavo. He brought up old heat between them and claimed he’s the King of TNA. Chavo fired back, telling him not to talk smack about El Paso. “This is Chuco Town and Guerrero Country!” The crowd erupted in cheers. Chavo then challenged for a Lucha-Libre-style match next week. Francis wanted no part of it and said he’s out of here.

- Mike Santana defeated Mustafa Ali in a really good match, even if Ali retreated to the back of the building, resulting in a 10-count count-out. Santana grabbed the mic and declared, “This is my house!” Ali dislocated his jaw during the match, but corrected it and finished the bout.
- TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Heather and Ash by Elegance demanded their cake and a moment of silence for Spitfire. NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson arrived, declaring themselves the true tag team champions and demanding their belts. Spitfire went out and requested their rematch right now. NXt’s Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley joined the fray, stating that they want the TNA Tag Titles as well. Big brawl. Santino Marella rushed to announce The Elegance will defend the titles next week against Dolin and Paxley, with Spitfire banned from ringside.
- Xia Brookside & Lei Ying Lee defeated Rosemary & Savannah Evans after Rosemary accidentally sprayed Savannah with green mist, and Lee followed up with a spinning kick to Evans to pick up the pinfall.
- Ryan Nemeth promo. The crowd chanted “Culero” at the mention of his brother, Nic, turning on Matt Hardy (according to Collins, lazy and vile are the kindest translations. Drug courier, chicken, diaper and fag are the funniest. The French translation is a bit more direct, between douchebag and asshole). Nic Nemeth came out and said, “We just saw Matt and Jeff outside.” He claimed that TNA is back because of him and accused Hardy of sneaking in and taking spots in TNA. Nemeth declared that he and his brother are the greatest brother tag team in history. Leon Slater came out and called them crazy. He saif someone needs to step up next week and that he’s going to beat Nemeth’s ass right now. A brawl broke out, with Nemeth taking Slater down and leaving him lying in the ring.
- Mance Warner defeated El Paso’s own Magno.

- The System came out. There are issues. Moose is getting heat for losing to Femi. They say he needs to face his fears and defend the belt in the return of The Ultimate X next week (will be taped in 2 weeks).

- Joe Hendry did a promo where he challenged anyone, from anywhere, to fight him at Rebellion. Elijah came out and said he is not challenging Joe for a match. Instead, he wanted to sing a duet with Joe. They started singing “You got a Friend in Me” until Kazarian interrupted. Kazarian brought out his bass guitar and performed songs like La Cucaracha and another song trashing El Paso. Kazarian tried to instigate a fight between Elijah and Joe, which ended with Kazarian getting beat up by both men until Kazarian ducked a clothesline from Elijah, which almost hit Joe. Kazarian retreated to the back while Joe and Elijah stared at each other.
- Eric Young defeated Ace Austin.
- Nic Nemeth (with Ryan Nemeth in his corner) defeated Leon Slater. The Nemeth brothers attacked Slater after the match until the Hardys ran them off.
