Understanding Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins

Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins are the virtual currencies used at sweepstakes casinos, allowing players to access free casino-style games and redeem various bonuses. Both currencies are completely free and offer valuable benefits to users. Read on to learn more about how they work.

Gold Coins

Gold Coins are commonly found at social and sweepstakes casinos, serving as a way to enjoy free casino-style games. They do not hold any monetary value and can be obtained through casino bonuses or purchased in coin packages via the casino's online store.

Sweeps Coins

Sweeps Coins, also available at sweepstakes casinos, grant access to free casino-style games and can be redeemed for real cash prizes if players accumulate a required amount. Unlike Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins cannot be directly purchased; instead, they can be earned through promotions, bonuses, or as a reward when purchasing Gold Coin packages.

How to Get Free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins

Gold and Sweeps Coins are essential for playing at sweepstakes casinos, and there are several ways to obtain them for free. Here are some of the most popular methods:

Daily Bonuses

Players can receive free Gold and Sweeps Coins through casino promotions such as welcome bonuses, no-purchase offers, and daily login rewards. The amount of coins available varies by promotion, so always check the terms and conditions.

Social Media Giveaways

Sweepstakes casinos frequently host giveaways and contests on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Following these platforms ensures you never miss out on free coin opportunities.

Welcome Bonuses

New users can benefit from welcome bonuses that include free Gold and Sweeps Coins upon account creation. Simply sign up at a recommended site, and the bonus will be automatically credited to your account.

Gold Coin Bundles

If the above free methods don’t suit you, Gold Coins can be purchased in various packages from the casino’s store. Some Gold Coin bundles also include free Sweeps Coins as an added bonus.

What Are Sweepstakes Casinos?

Sweepstakes casinos are online gaming platforms that allow players to enjoy casino-style games using virtual currencies instead of real money. This makes them legal in most U.S. states, as they do not involve traditional gambling. Instead, players use Gold Coins for entertainment or Sweeps Coins, which can be redeemed for real prizes.

These platforms are widely popular across the U.S. due to their low-risk nature and the opportunity to enjoy casino games without financial risk. While traditional online casinos remain restricted in many states, sweepstakes casinos offer a legal and accessible alternative.

Currently, sweepstakes casinos are legal in all U.S. states except Michigan, Washington, Idaho, and Nevada.

Best NHL Player Props Today: More Marner Magic, 3 Others https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/best-nhl-player-props-today-more-marner-magic-3-others/ Wed, 27 Nov 2024 09:31:53 +0000 https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/?p=644 We’re looking forward to a lamp-lighting Tuesday in the NHL, with 24 teams in action. Here are four player props from hockey betting sites to consider for Dec. 13.

[cta id=591 type=cta]

Mitch Marner Over 1.5 Total Points

All good things must come to an end – just not tonight. Marner has a more-than-favorable matchup to extend his point streak against the bottom-dwelling Ducks.

Anaheim has made a mess of its season. The Ducks own the worst record in hockey and have the dubious distinction of ranking dead-last in both goals for (2.34) and against (4.17).

They’ve given up the most shots of any team in the NHL (37.5 per game) and have an abominable 66% PK rate.

Meanwhile, the Leafs are the hottest team in the league, having not lost in regulation in their last 14 games. Marner has an excellent chance to extend his 22-game streak in a multiple-point fashion.

Jack Hughes Over 0.5 Assists

Jumpin’ Jack Hughes is on a heater. The 21-year-old center is riding an eight-game point streak, notching eight goals and 13 points in that span.

New Jersey has lost two in a row and will look to get back in the win column at home against Dallas. Hughes has recently been brilliant on home ice, registering nine points in his last four contests, including five assists.

Look for the former top pick to keep his streak alive against a Stars team in the midst of a grueling East Coast swing.

Alexander Ovechkin Over 3.5 shots

The Chicago Blackhawks rank 29th in the league in shots against. Guess who’s in town and likes to shoot the puck?

Alexander Ovechkin should have a field day in Chi-town as he continues his quest for 800. Ovi now has four goals in his last three games, and there's a sense that he smells blood in the water.

The sniper has been shooting up a storm recently, with 25 shots in his last four games and 12 in his previous two. Ovechkin is three goals away from becoming just the third player in history to reach 800 goals.

If you think the winger can get it done tonight, you’ll get +1500 odds at FanDuel.

Taylor Hall Over 2.5 Shots

Hall has gone over 2.5 shots in seven of his last eight games, making this bet a no-brainer.

The Boston Bruins winger hasn’t had under four shots in his last four games and is coming off a six-shooter against the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Islanders are a little worse than average regarding shots against (31.6, 17th), creating a nice matchup for the former first-overall pick.

NHL Player Props Monday: Kaprizov Burns Oilers, 3 More Picks https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/nhl-player-props-monday-kaprizov-burns-oilers-3-more-picks/ Wed, 27 Nov 2024 09:31:53 +0000 https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/?p=623 Mondays are always better when there are six NHL games to look forward to. Here are four player props to consider as we kick off the week.

[cta id=591 type=cta]

Tyler Toffoli - Anytime Goal Scorer

The Flames played a great game against the Leafs on Saturday night but came up just short in overtime. Nazem Kadri and Jonathan Huberdeau have been coming alive, and now it’s time for the secondary scoring to step up.

Toffoli has 10 goals on the year but has only scored in one of his last five games. Calgary heads to Montreal tonight to take on the team that traded the winger away. The veteran should have added motivation playing in front of his former crowd.

Look for Toffoli to bury one against his old squad the way Kadri did against Toronto last game.

Chris Kreider - Under 2.5 Shots

New York hosts a familiar foe tonight as New Jersey visits Madison Square Garden. The Rangers currently trail the division-leading Devils by ten points in the Metropolitan.

Chris Kreider hasn’t been shooting the puck the way he was earlier in the season, with just five shots in his last three games. He’s been under 2.5 in four of his last five and will now face a Devils team that only gives up 26.6 shots per game (2nd).

It’s worth noting that when these teams faced off two weeks ago, Kreider was held to just one shot. At plus money from NHL betting sites, this is a bet you have to hold your breath and take.

Sidney Crosby - Over 1.5 Points

The Penguins are playing like Stanley Cup contenders, with Sidney Crosby leading the way. Pittsburgh has won 10 of 12, including two five-game win streaks.

Crosby has registered at least one point in 11 of his last 13 games and has 22 in that span. The future Hall of Famer loves his home cooking. He’s recorded nine points in his previous four home games, including three multi-point outings.

The Pens will host the Stars, who could get a rude awakening on the road after five straight home games. Dallas has given up 15 goals in its last four games.

Kirill Kaprizov - Anytime Goal Scorer

After a seven-game goal-scoring streak, Kirill Kaprizov has gone two games without potting one. No better way to remedy that than by facing the Edmonton Oilers.

The Oilers play a loose style that results in a lot of goals – for both teams. Edmonton is fifth in goals for (3.64) but 22nd in goals against (3.46). Kaprizov has followed up his 108-point campaign with 34 points in 27 games so far this season.

Last game was the first time the Russian had been held off the scoresheet since Nov. 8.

MNF Player Props: Hopkins, Cardinals Host Patriots In Week 14 Finale https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/mnf-player-props-hopkins-cardinals-host-patriots-in-week-14-finale/ Wed, 27 Nov 2024 09:31:53 +0000 https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/?p=618 The New England Patriots pay a visit to the desert to close out Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals. We’re sharing four MNF player props worth considering for tonight’s contest.

Monday Night Football Player Props & Touchdown Bets

[cta id=4014 type=cta]

DeAndre Hopkins Touchdown | Under 75.5 Receiving Yards

We know that Bill Belichick’s M.O. is to make opponents play left-handed, so-to-speak. That means he’ll attempt to take Hopkins out of the equation. Hopkins has totaled fewer than 76 receiving yards one time this season, but he has seen six or fewer targets in two of his last four. The Cardinals don’t have the type of dynamic No. 2 receiver that will scare the Patriots into playing a more balanced defense. It’s still worth considering the odds for Hopkins to find the end zone. It’s difficult to hold a player of his caliber completely down for 60 minutes. And he has the savvy to win on a short route within the five or 10-yard line.

Rhamondre Stevenson Under 77.5 Rushing Yards

Stevenson has come on in Year 2, emerging as a quality pass-catcher out of the backfield. He has not, however, been prolific as a rusher. He enjoyed a breakout against Detroit in Week 5. Since then, however, he’s averaging 3.9 yards per carry and 13.3 attempts per game. That Week 5 performance was also the last time Stevenson reached the 78 rushing-yard plateau

Kyler Murray Over 0.5 Interceptions

It’s often too tempting to ignore the Over on interceptions when a winning bet requires a quarterback to complete just one pass to the other team. Generally speaking, there are so many ways for a quarterback to throw a pick – good defense, bad offense, misfortune. In regard to Murray, specifically, he threw a pick in two of his last three and six of his 10 games overall. It’s safe to bet that the Patriots defense will make things challenging on Murray, plus they’re tied for fourth in the league with 12 interceptions.

James Conner Over 18.5 Yards

If Belichick opts to drape Hopkins all game, it will require Murray to find other pass catchers. Conner will be among those secondary options. The last – and only – time Hopkins was held down (Week 9, vs. Seattle), Conner received five targets. He totaled 19 yards, which didn’t leave much margin for the Over, but we’re betting on the receiving volume in a game where he may need to be called on a bit more frequently than usual. He hit the mark in two of his last four and five of nine overall.

SNF Player Props: Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers Meet In AFC Clash https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/snf-player-props-miami-dolphins-los-angeles-chargers/ Wed, 27 Nov 2024 09:31:53 +0000 https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/?p=603 This week’s NFL Sunday night finale features the Miami Dolphins visiting the Los Angeles Chargers. These are the SNF player props and anytime touchdown scorer bets we like ahead of the matchup.

[cta id=4013 type=cta]

Sunday Night Football Player Props, Anytime TD Scorer Bets

Tua Tagovailoa Over 276.5 Passing Yards

Tagovailoa last threw for fewer than 283 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. He hit the mark in the five games since, averaging 312.6 passing yards overall. Not only does he have chunk-play monsters in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but the Chargers feature a middle-of-the-road pass defense. They rank 19th in passing yards allowed and 16th in passing DVOA, an advanced efficiency metric. The Dolphins are favored to win on the road, so it’s reasonable to expect a quality showing from Miami’s signal-caller.

Jaylen Waddle TD

Waddle may trail Hill in targets and on the wide receiver pecking order, but he leads the team with six touchdown receptions, and is capable of winning deep or taking a short pass to the house. The Hill-Waddle duo presents nightmares for opposing defenses, and that will be the case on Sunday night, where oddsmakers suggest a high-scoring contest. There’s only so much room an opposing team is willing to provide Hill which will open opportunities for Waddle to find the paint.

Mike Gesicki Under 19.5 Receiving Yards

Gesicki collected a whopping seven targets across his last four games, catching three of them for 34 yards. He drew one target apiece in each of his last two contests and has six games with two or fewer pass attempts in his direction (four with a single target). He’s averaging a respectable 11.2 yards per reception on the season, but it’s difficult to trust him to deliver 20 yards given his struggles in both the volume and efficiency departments of late.

Austin Ekeler Under 100.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards

Ekeler is a dual-threat dynamo, but we’re hesitant to anticipate big yardage output on Sunday. He’s averaging a modest 10.5 carries per game at 3.8 yards per clip since Week 7. And while his target volume over that span has been robust – 9.2 per game – he averaged fewer than six yards per catch in three of his last five. The likely return of Mike Williams could mean a little less reliance on Ekeler.

NHL Player Props Tonight: 4 Top Picks, Tage Takes Center Stage https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/nhl-player-props-tonight-4-top-picks-tage-takes-center-stage/ Wed, 27 Nov 2024 09:31:53 +0000 https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/?p=584 It’s a happy Friday for NHL fans, with 20 teams hitting the ice. All the stars are out tonight, and we have four player props from hockey betting sites to kick off the weekend.

[cta id=591 type=cta]

David Pastrnak Under 4.5 Shots

The Bruins are the best team in the NHL, and Pastrnak has been their best player.

He’s second in the NHL in shots with 125 and has 36 points in 25 games. But if we’re getting plus money on under 4.5 shots, we have to take it. As great as the winger has been, he’s still only gone over 4.5 shots in 10 of his 25 games (40%).

He’s also had fewer than five shots in four of his last six games. This is nothing against Pastrnak. It’s just trying to exploit an inflated number on a bet that has hit 60% of the time this year.

Nazem Kadri Over 0.5 Points

Nazem Kadri has had a seven-game point streak this season and a seven-game drought. It’s safe to say he's streaky.

The new Flame is again heating up with five points in his last three games. Calgary is playing better as a whole and slowly climbing the ladder in the Pacific. They should have extra motivation tonight as they face their former leader, Johnny Gaudreau.

Gaudreau shocked the city of Calgary by signing with Columbus in the offseason, and the team knows that a win tonight would go a long way with the Flames faithful.

Kadri’s cause is helped by the Blue Jackets’ dead-last ranking in goals against (4.16).

Tage Thompson Over 0.5 Power Play Points

Tage Thompson is coming off his second six-point performance of the season. That wasn’t a misprint. It’s a statistic from the Gretzky era, but it happened in 2022.

The 6’7 winger now has 40 points on the year (4th) in what has been a breakout season, to put it lightly. His recent streak (14 points in five games) has dropped the value on the over 0.5 points (-240), but we’ll take the plus odds on the power play.

Thompson has registered a PP point in four straight games, with seven in that span. The Sabres have been elite with the man advantage, hitting at a 29% clip (3rd).

Connor McDavid Under 3.5 Shots

The best player in the world is flying right now. McDavid has 17 points in his last seven games and is coming off a four-point performance against the Coyotes.

Still, four shots in a game are a lot. As good as the former first-overall pick has been, he’s gone under that mark in three of his last four games and five of his previous eight.

The Wild have been stingy in this department, allowing just 29.7 shots per game (8th). McDavid recorded two shots on net the last time he faced Minnesota on Dec. 1.

World Cup Odds: 3 Best Props to Bet for Canada vs. Belgium https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/world-cup-odds-3-top-props-to-bet-on-canada-vs-belgium/ Wed, 27 Nov 2024 09:31:53 +0000 https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/?p=329 Canada is back in the World Cup after 36 long years. After being shut out in Mexico in 1986, the Canucks want to make history in Qatar.

There will be no easing into the tournament, however. Canada will be thrust into the fire immediately against one of the world’s best in Belgium.

[cta id=4073 type=cta]

Best Prop Bets for Canada vs. Belgium

There’s a sense Qatar is the last chance for Belgium’s "golden generation" to bring home a World Cup trophy. Most of their stars are approaching 30 years or older. The window is closing.

Canada, on the other hand, has nothing to lose. Just one goal would make this their most successful WC ever.

John Herdman’s team is built around forwards Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, and Cyle Larin. That trio will need to find the back of the net if Canada is going to make any noise.

Canada is a massive underdog against the Belgian heavyweights, but don’t expect them to go quietly.

Anytime Goal Scorer – Cyle Larin (+370)

Canada didn’t score a goal in any of its three games in its first and only World Cup appearance. We like them to get off the schneid on day one in Qatar.

If they’re going to score, there’s no better player to do so than the nation’s all-time leader in goals – Cyle Larin.

There’s also decent value with up-and-coming superstar Alphonso Davies (+550) if you’re looking to back a Canadian.

Both Teams To Score + Over 2.5 (+110)

Belgium’s high-flying attack is well documented. The Red Devils had a run of 53 straight matches without being shut out until they finally laid an egg against the Netherlands in September. This team can score in bunches.

Canada proved in qualifiers that they have a solid attacking group as well. They can run with the best of them and should be able to pot one against a susceptible Belgium defense.

The Red Devils have given up at least one goal in all but two of their last 13 contests.

Correct Score: Belgium To Win 2–1, 3–1, or 4–1 (+320)

One goal in this one would be a win for Canada and something to build on. Belgium is the second-ranked team in the world, and oddsmakers have them favored accordingly.

The Red Devils are an explosive squad that wants to make a statement in their first game. Two, three, or four goals seem quite plausible against an inexperienced Canadian group.

World Cup Golden Boot Odds: Can Harry Kane Repeat? https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/world-cup-golden-boot-odds-can-harry-kane-repeat/ Wed, 27 Nov 2024 09:31:53 +0000 https://lastwordonsports.com/betting/?p=192 The 2022 World Cup is just days away, so it’s time for sports bettors to get serious about their picks for The Beautiful Game’s biggest tournament.

The Golden Boot is the hardware awarded to the tourney’s top scorer. Tottenham star Harry Kane is the reigning champ after he scored six goals for England in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Can the Spurs striker go back-to-back? Here's what current Golden Boot odds say his chances are.

2022 World Cup Golden Boot Odds from FanDuel

  • Harry Kane +750
  • Kylian Mbappe +850
  • Karim Benzema +1400
  • Neymar +1400
  • Lionel Messi +1400
  • Cristiano Ronaldo +1600
  • Romelu Lukaku +2100
  • Vinicius Junior +2900
  • Memphis Depay +2900
  • Lautaro Martinez +2900

[cta id=591 type=cta]

2022 Golden Boot Favorites

Harry Kane leads the way, but there’s a star-studded list of contenders for top scorer. It’s likely the last hoorah for legends like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and you can count on both wanting to go out with a bang.

To win the Golden Boot, your team will likely have to go deep, as only one player in history has won it after being eliminated in the group stage.

Harry Kane +750

Kane has a chance this WC not just to win another Golden Boot but to become the all-time leading scorer in English soccer history. He currently sits just three goals behind Wayne Rooney, so a strong showing in Qatar could catapult him to number one.

Kylian Mbappe +850

world cup golden boot oddsMbappe is still a youngin’ at 23 but plays far beyond his years. He made his WC debut in 2018 at 19 and took home the honor of the Best Young Player Award.

He’s been lighting up the scoreboard for Paris Saint-Germain ever since and already has 11 goals in 13 Ligue 1 matches this year. Mbappe is one of the best players alive and will look to showcase his talents to the world this November.

Karim Benzema +1400

Coming off a 27-goal La Liga season with Real Madrid, Benzema has five goals in seven matches this year. The French star is a little long-in-the-tooth at 34 years old but still a considerable threat and one of the best players of his generation.

He’ll look to add to the 37 goals he’s tallied for the French national team since 2007.

Neymar +1400

Nasty Neymar is set to make his third World Cup appearance at age 30. The beloved Brazilian leads a squad that is an early favorite to win the tournament, which bodes well for the winger's chances to rack up some goals.

This year, Neymar has been on fire for PSG with 11 goals and nine assists through 13 matches to start the season.

Lionel Messi +1400

Messi has won a record seven Ballon d'Or awards but has yet to win a World Cup or a Golden Boot in his illustrious career. Arguably the best footballer to ever set foot on a pitch, Messi will look to finish his WC career in style.

The always-competitive Argentina team has the third-shortest odds to win it all this year, and its captain would love to sail off into the sunset with one more accolade.
